Orders received before 3 pm CST (Chicago time) will be processed that day, but not necessarily ship the same day. Most orders will ship within 2 business days. We typically do not ship on Fridays, due to the fact that UPS does not move cargo on the weekends, and the product would sit in their warehouse over the weekend. This is a particular problem during the warmer months, and for shipping to warmer destinations as the cold packs are only effective for 48 hours. You can choose to have your order delivered on Saturday via UPS, but UPS requires that it must be shipped overnight to be delivered on Saturday. If a significant delay in shipping is anticipated, you will be contacted. Please use the map below to determine how many business days your package will be in transit if you select UPS Ground shipping method. If you wish to expedite your transit time please choose an expedited shipping method.

For temperatures above 70 degrees, we advise that a cold pack be used to ensure the safety of your merchandise. Merchandise shipped with a cold pack MUST be shipped using UPS 2 Day shipping method or overnight. By selecting a shipping option without a cold pack, you accept full responsibility for products damaged during shipping. If a product is damaged during shipping without the recommended cold pack, we cannot offer a refund or replacement.

The Chicago Chocolate Company will also hand deliver within Chicago and many surrounding suburbs. For most deliveries two business days lead time is required. Although special arrangements can be made in certain instances. Please select CCC shipping method during checkout.

Because of the nature of our products, The Chicago Chocolate Company cannot offer refunds or replacements of the items purchased online, in most cases.
